Dia de los Muertos!

Our first Day of the Dead was AWESOME!  Thanks so much to Wendy, Tracy, Jennifer and to Bare Hands Gallery for having us.    Ashley and I were busy in the painting tent, but my offspring report that the food and performances were fabulous, not to mention all the amazing artwork and displays!  Being from New Orleans myself, it was great to be in such a fun, grassroots party atmosphere, surrounded by people in colorful homemade costumes, just having a good time.  We did manage to snag a few pics in between painting, until my camera ran out of batteries…sigh.  I spent most of last night dreaming about painting calavera!
